Soul2Soul Music Buzz .com CEO/Founder Shyra Johnson is a true example of hard work and determination at its best.Born and raised in upstate New York, Shyra became a single mother at 22 years old, but never gave up on her dreams and aspirations.
Johnson first started her career as an intern at Source Magazine in 2008 as an assistant to a senior executive. During the internship, she got the chance to network and learn about the industry from a corporate perspective. After her internship, she decided to finish up school and received a Degree in Paralegal. She followed up with working with a entertainment law firm Baldonado & Associates in New York. Ironically, instead of legal work, she contributed with marketing and branding ideas. She soon realized that she had a greater passion for public relations. In 2010 she launched Shyra Johnson Public Relations.
Shyra Johnson Public Relations became one of the sponsors for a panel discussion at the Florida Entertainment Summit a National event founded by renowned publicist Elora Mason. The sponsorship proved to be a stepping stone towards her dream coming true. Eventually she started working with Preserve Our Legacy Inc. assisting with their celebrity charity basketball games and public relations. Johnson also represented emerging underground hip hop recording artist Papoose.
2012 proved to be a monumental year with the launch of an entertainment management division and Soul 2 Soul Music Buzz. The management company currently manages a Neo Soul artist Kelly Jones, a Industry Hair Stylist Dnise Brown and a Film Creator/Writer Craig Langley.

Owning your own business is the best thing to do in 2012, in my opinion. Being independent and not relying on sources(welfare, unemployment, etc) Gives you the Financial Empowerment that you need to to live debt free, and comfortable.
